Each strand of hair that you have lying in a hole (cavity) tiny skin called a follicle. Baldness in general occurs when the follicle shrinks over time, resulting in shorter and thinner hair. Eventually, the follicle is not a new hair. However, the follicles remain alive, suggesting that it is possible to grow new hair.

The Classic male pattern baldness is usually diagnosed based on the appearance and pattern of hair loss.It is important to note that hair loss can be caused by other disorders. This may be true if hair loss occurs in patches, you move a lot of hair, your hair breaks or hair loss is presented along with redness, peeling and pain.It is possible that a skin biopsy or other procedures to diagnose other disorders that cause hair loss are needed.Hair analysis is not accurate for diagnosing hair loss due to nutritional disorders or related disorders. Treatments

Treatment is not necessary if you are comfortable with your appearance. Hair weaving, hairpieces, or using the change in style may disguise hair loss. Normally, this is the least expensive and safest procedure for male baldness.

Two drugs approved to treat male pattern baldness:

Minoxidil (Rogaine) is a solution that you apply directly to the scalp to stimulate hair follicles. It slows hair loss for many men, and some men grow new hair. The previous degree of hair loss returns when you stop using this medicine.

Minoxidil Rogaine

Finasteride (Propecia, Proscar) is a pill that interferes with the production of a certain male hormone linked to baldness. This drug slows hair loss and works a little better than minoxidil. The hair loss returns when you stop using this medicine.

Hair transplants consist of removing tiny plugs of hair from areas where the hair is continuing to grow and placing them in areas that are balding.
This can cause minor scarring and possible infection. The procedure usually requires multiple transplantation sessions and may be expensive. However, the results are often excellent and permanent.

Suturing hair pieces to the scalp is not recommended because it can cause scarring, infection and abscess at the site. The use of hair implants made of artificial fibers was banned by the FDA because of the high rate of infection.
